Purple Sorcerer Games
Anyone know what's up with these guys? I liked their first module and was eagerly waiting for their Crawler's Companion app to come out, but there haven't been any updates on the blog since October.

I hope everything is okay. Jon seems like a really cool guy, via email anyway, and his adventures are top notch.

His character generator is awesome.

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games
You should check them out. Personally, if you can only get one, I would get Ooze Pits, but both are excellent. Ooze Pits assumes that you have the first, in terms of its set-up, but it isn't necessary.Yag-Kosha wrote:I've been meaning to check them out.Raven_Crowking wrote:. . . and his adventures are top notch.

Spoke to him recently, so I'll drop him a line to get him to pop in.

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games
Thanks for the heads up Colin.
Doing OK guys. I've just been dealing with some sort-of serious health issues since early Fall. As I'm recovering I'm getting excited about moving forward on all the fun projects.
I'll try to be better about letting everyone know what's up.

Thanks for responding! I hope that things pick up for you.
So far I've picked up Perils of the Sunken City and really like it, and I'm looking forward to your other stuff too. The Crawler's Companion is gonna be great!

As someone who owns both "Perils of the Sunken City" and "Ooze Pits," I'm happy to read that you're doing better, and I look forward to what comes next!

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
Re: Purple Sorcerer Games
First the move and now this -- I feel for you. Glad to hear you're doing better and hope you have a good 2013. Looking forward to what you come up with.
Re: Purple Sorcerer Games
I don't own Ooze Pits yet, but I was proposing an Adventurers' Guild campaign in Burning Wheel at the time I got Sunken City, and I replaced the guild with the Soiled Dove wholesale. I think that's one of the coolest, most flavorful things I've ever read in an RPG.
