OAR 1 Re: Running Possessed PC (Spoiler)

I am DM’ing OAR 1. If a PC chooses to become possessed (for example to fulfill a quest) 1) mechanically would the PC’s stats change, and 2) what suggestions do you have for running/playing the experience to make it more fun/challenging?
