Lost City Faction Movement

So my group has been enjoying the mix of dungeon crawl, exploration, and faction negotiation.

They even found the entrance to the Lost City itself.

But my question is how do the factions get from their upper-level lairs to the Lost City? Is that covered anywhere? It's possible I've missed it as the book is dense with a variety of optional material.

I almost suspect that it's going to be similar to a computer RPG where the side quests all get done and the players stomp on the main bad guy.
