Hello everyone,
what is meant by one of the random street names: Long-goose?
I'm no native speaker and couldn't find a special meaning (even in slang dictionaries, etc.). Does it refer just to the animal or is there another meaning?
Thanks,
Alex

I think it's a style of men's winter coat. I'm not familiar with any Lankhmar-specific meaning.

You mean like a shorthand for a long goose down coat?

Exactly. That's the only reference for "long goose" that I can think of.

Re: Roadname term "Long-goose"

Re: Roadname term "Long-goose"
I searched the ebooks (also for similiar terms and only goose) and it is no term from Leibers stories.

There‘s meaning 4 which might make more sense in context of Lankhmar and Leibers stories.
