Hello
I am considering running a DCC Lankhmar campaign in the future. However, one of my players is quite familiar with the AD&D Lankhmar material. How different, content-wise, are the two? Would he already have had spoilers?
Thanks
Mica

Re: DCC vs AD&D
Well, anybody that's read Leiber has plenty of "spoilers" going on, too -- but that's part of the fun, playing in a world you are familiar with...
The real question is can he separate what he knows as a player to play a character that doesn't know that stuff...? If not, make him an older character who has learned much about the world already, or something like that. Just because he's older and knows stuff doesn't mean he's gotta be a higher level. Make his occupation "adventurer" or something...
