Welcome Message
Hi there. This here's the Play-By-Post subforum. Welcome!
Being older types, sometimes it's just easier for us to play in little snippets, when we can, throughout the day. It's not as fast as sitting at a table with your fellow smelly neckbeards (and their smelly spouses!), but it also has its own bonuses, in my opinion, like the ability to wax poetic (or prosaic) with your character's language.
Anyway.
The more the merrier! If you want to run a game, feel free. If you want to play a game, let people know. I'm currently still running a conversion of the old L1 (A?)D&D module Secret of Bone Hill for DCC, and Raven Crowking just started running a game using the Revelation of Mulmo for mid-level DCC play. Hope to see some more folks make use of the subforum!

Re: Welcome Message
Great idea to set up a sub-forum.
However, I resent you calling my wife a 'neckbeard'.

Re: Welcome Message
Thanks for the official welcome to the new PbP subforum. I'm also playing in Raven_Crowking's Revelation of Mulmo game.
I'm new to the DCC RPG game (just got the rulesbook last week), to these boards, and also new to PbP. Loving the DCC rules so far and can't wait to get my regular IRL game group up and running through a 0 level funnel!
Here's to long lasting and enjoyable PbP games!

Re: Welcome Message
So, Svenden, your avatar isn't so much an homage -- it's more of a portrait, eh?

Re: Welcome Message
I can try to be as bad in writing as I am in person. A sort of PvP competition of myself vs. myself. Very edifying.beermotor wrote: it also has its own bonuses, in my opinion, like the ability to wax poetic (or prosaic) with your character's language.

I don't mind. I don't think the moderators will either.
