What does the Maur look like? I’m running escape from the purple planet. There’s no description, it’s hard to run this for players, they will ask what is looks like.

The Maur lurks in the darkness. They're not going to see anything, but will feel claws and disturbingly cold, rough skin. Or whatever you think would be scariest.

But if somehow they *do* shine a light on it — a feeble, pallid light at best, no doubt — you should search your hindbrain for what would live in the dark and yet have a human-like form... and then describe it that way.

I see an oversized human form, naked, so pale it's translucent, with fronds like I've seen on tiny, sightless cave creatures all over it's body, all twitching and weaving as the creature moves. The face is dominated by a wide mouth full of slender, rib-like curved teeth, and large milky gray eyes.

when i was running escape i described maur as the cross between sadako and the godzilla.
