corruption: With every activation of this ability there is a 10% chance of corruption per Animal Summoning. If corruption occurs, this ability is permanently lost as the ursine spirit ascends to its rightful place among the stars. The chance of corruption increases by 1% with each consecutive activation of this ability.
effect: Summon one bear with 1d3HD per Animal Summoning cast with a spellcheck result of 18.

small: Init +2; Atk claw + 2 melee (1d3) or bite +2 melee (1d4); AC 13 HD 1-2d10; MV 30’; Act 2d20; SP Hug; SV Fort +2, Ref +2, Will +1; AL N
medium: Init +2; Atk claw + 3 melee (1d4) or bite +3 melee (1d6); AC 13; HD 3-4d10; MV 30’; Act 2d20; SP Hug ; SV Fort +3, Ref +2, Will +2; AL N

Bear hugs for extra d12 damage if both attacks by claw hit.

Bear stats are from The Forgotten Rites of the Moldering Dead. Highly recommended.
