3PP Product Listing

Post by finarvyn »

My Original Manifesto: There are so many 3PP projects starting up for the DCC RPG that I know my brain was starting to hurt. What began as a quest to figure out “what’s out there” has evolved into a post that will hopefully help others keep track of DCC developments. What I have done is to list off publishers (and a “contact” person who might be an author or publisher) along with products as best as I can determine them. For products I am trying to indicate whether they will be available in print or PDF formats and an estimated publishing date. Eventually I’d like to build in links to products so folks can click and go there. Clearly, this is a work in progress…

May 2013 Update: “For the sake of sanity, it's probably best just to present a continually updated list of what's actually released” – Colin. Thanks to Colin for getting this list updated for me.

March 2014 Update: I decided to put magazines and periodicals in the second post of this thread and make the focus here modules and supplements.

Nice catch, Colin. I swear I looked all over and couldn't find an official company name. Clearly I need my new glasses faster than I'd hoped.

It's fixed now in my OP.

Thanks Finarvyn for putting together this list!

I'm busy working on the DCC Re-Master of "Haunting of Larvik Island" (which I hope to have to ready in 4Q of 2012 ) while simultaneously writing "Larvik 2". The re-master has been fun as I'm retconning certain elements and making it darker & weirder to fit the spirit of Appendix N. Larvik 2 will probably be ready early 2013.

I've just moved into the new place (been in the process of moving so now that that is out of the way I should be able to re-focus on what's really important: putting funnel chum in grave danger.

The size of AL 1 precludes a POD option. So for the time being it is only available in PDF. We also include the GM map as a separate file and a player map scaled for VTTs.

In the future if we have several of the AL lines we can look at combining them into a POD option but right now we are focused on short easy to drop in adventure locales.

Magique Productions is in the development stages of a completely new adventure product line for DCC RPG. I just received the license last night from Joseph and will be signing and returning it this weekend. I'll announce more specifics in the coming weeks/months.

If you are not familiar with us, we've published several OSRIC compatible modules over the past few years. You can find our products on RPGNow.com.

Thanks, finarvyn. I'm currently in talks with Joseph to refine our product plan to meet with his approval. Once we've got a firm approval on what we are planning then we'll start working on some pre-production information for the public.

Has anybody heard of this on Indigeogo? http://www.indiegogo.com/Unusualsuspects?a=891545

Sounds interesting but hadn't seen any chatter about it on the boards. I'm assuming it is Joseph-approved but wasn't sure.

finarvyn,

Please remove Magique Productions from the list of 3PPs. After due consideration, we've decided to withdraw our intentions to produce material for DCC RPG. We are investigating an opportunity with another game system, which we feel is better suited to our product plans. We wish everyone involved with DCC RPG good luck with the game.

Purple Duck Games
AL 1: Bone Hoard of the Dancing Horror by Daniel J. Bishop (PDF)
AL 2: Sepulcher of the Mountain God by Paul Wolfe (PDF)

Both these adventure locales are now available for sale in PDF through Rpgnow and our gumroad site (http://gumroad.com/pdg). Both these titles are too small for a POD offering.
