Re: Preorders
The shipping minions could easily be ordered to handle them in the order the orders were placed.ragboy wrote:I got no such announcement! Gaah!jeff wrote:Have the preorders been shipped yet? I got an email on Monday from UPS and Paypal saying that my preorder had been shipped.
I've ordered my copy of the book through my FLGS, but it'd be nice to have a rough second-hand basis of estimate as to when I might be able to pick it up...

Re: Preorders
Wouldn't we get the PDF first?
"A free PDF e-book edition of DCC RPG, sent via e-mail when DCC RPG goes to the printer (approximately 4-6 weeks before it is available to the general public)."
Suspect an error there

Re: Preorders
Actually, after talking with Joe, it turns out that the message was for the copy of Points of Light 2 that I included with my preorder. The preorders themselves won't ship until the end of April.

Re: Preorders
The insiders have only recently gotten a copy of the "cross fingers we hope it's final" version to look at for any last typos or corrections.
It hasn't quite gone to the printers yet but we're getting closer and closer to completion...

Re: Preorders
That's a nice book too. I'm sad to hear the books son't ship until the end of April. This means I won't be able to run the game until July, thanks to exams and thesis.jeff wrote:Actually, after talking with Joe, it turns out that the message was for the copy of Points of Light 2 that I included with my preorder. Re: Preorders
Not until the end of April? By Crom, knowing my luck that means I probably won't get the book itself until June. Well hopefully that means that the Pdf will go out in April.

Re: Preorders
Yes, DCC RPG will go to the printer next week and pre-order customers will get a PDF copy shortly after April 1 -- probably within a couple days of that date. It's right around the corner. Hard copy will follow in late April, depending on the printer's schedule.

Re: Preorders
I am so dying to see the final product. My party is digging this game. No other has captured the feel and imagination like this one and I tell them "Guys, we are only playing the Beta!".
Re: Preorders
Hmm... I'd kinda like to up my pre-order from a regular to foil edition. Is this possible? How should I communicate this to the people in charge?

Re: Preorders
Yes, I too am getting quite anxious and excited to receive my PDF. I just finished the second session of running 3rd level characters though the old ravenloft adventure and I am dying to get the full rules to use in our game!

Re: Preorders
You are not alone. I find myself checking and re-checking my email!
I understand that right now is going to be a busy time, though, getting the book to the printers, formatting the pdf, bookmarking, etc., so I am trying to be patient.

Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Did I miss it? Am I late? Will it be here any minute? Oh boy I can hardly wait!
