DCC... Which are 3.5 and which are 3.0 ?

Post by usdmw »

Just wondering which of the DCC are 3.5 and which are 3.0. Will 3.0 books eventually be reprinted for 3.5?

This question was asked earlier and here is the reply:
DCC #1 and #2 are both 3.0. They were both released prior to the D&D 3.5 update. I don't have any plans to update #1 and #2 to 3.5 at this point, since they're low-level modules and there really aren't that many important changes. But all DCC modules going forward will be 3.5 compatible. Hope that helps!
But, actually both DCC's #1 & #2 have been re-released in a 3.5 version. The cover art is different (at least for DCC#2, not sure for DCC#1). The 3.5 version of DCC#2 features a one-eyed lizardman? on the front while the 3.0 version has an Ogre in a cave lounging around a campfire.
The 3.5 version of DCC#1 features Wererats? fighting an adventuring party in a mine (as I said earlier, I'm not sure what the original cover art was on DCC#1, or if it changed at all).

Hope that info helps,
Vanulf
