If you dig "Dying earth" type names for spells try this:
http://generators.christopherpound.com/#dyingearth
It will generate a long list of spell names. I guess you could use these to rename already existing spells from 3-3.5 D&D and create cool charts to DCC them, or use the names as inspiration for totally new DCC spells!
Here is a taste of what can be generated:
Moelaingo's penal concert
Sartz's false gravy
Sapaltz's waxy tact
Urtiachin's joyous race
Zintherru's elfin total
Ipatzi's domestic exercise
Vanta's handy bout
Leroud's border scramble
The charm of slanderous anybody
Ivanqzi's abusive imposition
Porce's choral vegetable
Oxeltzedr's uniform poverty
The spell of conscientious paean
Khaimpo's cautionary figure
Mercas's insufficient aspersion
Thique's rapt barter
Tobea's farcical mode
Kervalfin's incorrigible marshal
Landi's venerable trust
Well if that doesn't get you thinking about how to figure out the effects of those spells then I don't know what will!

When I read the DYING EARTH RPG I had to keep a dictionary handy. Same seems to be the case for the spell name generator.
Really cool, though!

Re: Spell name generator, Jack Vance style!
This has inspired me to rename all of the 'normal' spells in a Vancian style.
With a little help from that spell name generator:
Koldo's Improvident Epicure (animal summoning)
The Charm of Juvenile Performance (cantrip)
Miiri's Dynamic Retardation (charm person)
Hanako's Dreadful Flourish (chill touch)
Hylaine's Reactionary Bloom (choking cloud)
Brading's Lurid Spasm (color spray)
Majun's Scholastic Franchise (comprehend languages)
Guide to Insubstantial Translucence (detect magic)
Ekim's Mystical Mask
Davendor's Healthful Alarm (enlarge)
Jorclan's Lawful Descent (feather fall)
The Call of the Pet Oath (find familiar)
Tobal's Vicious Option (flaming hands)
Nikuti's Silent Subtlety (force manipulation)
The Call of the Immortal Commerce (invoke patron)
Xarmo's Supreme Strike (magic missile)
Morte's Dark Avarice (magic shield)
Vecna's Commonplace Surfeit (mending)
The Pattern of Invisible Commitment (patron bond)
Agency of Microscopic Inquisition (read magic)
Hound's Vain Fold (ropework)
Material Transcription (runic alphabet, mortal)
Axto's Prostrate Head (sleep)
Vecna's Invisible Enigma (spider climb)
Axto's Phony Puppet (ventriloquism)
Koldo's Affirmative Pyramid (ward portal)
FYI, I'm using Vecna in my campaign.

Re: Spell name generator, Jack Vance style!
I love the "Charm of Juvenile Performance" for Cantrip! As a Wizard player it will be great fun I think to cry out these spell names when playing.
Prepare to endure Brading's Lurid Spasm! Bwa hah ha!
Fun!
