New to DCC trying to understand 5E adventures are they designed to be used with standard DCC rules or are they a stand alone system, thanks for info.

The Fifth Edition Fantasy line is in support of 5th Edition D&D.

DCC RPG is it's own game, not part of any edition of D&D.

You could adapt adventures from one system to the other, and many folks do exactly that, but they are not identical in their mechanics.

Right, keep in mind that 1st level 5e characters have a lot of hit points and 5e is designed to rapidly advance to 2nd level where as 0 level starting DCC characters are "squishy" and designed that way.

Also DCC relies on rolling 3d6 for stats in ORDER where as 5e has the standard array. With 3d6 it's no unheard of to get a 6 in a stat.
