GnomeBoy,
You are confused. It's Metamorphosis Alpha, not Alphabet. It's a good thing I popped in to help you with this terrible misunderstanding.

I just wish the editors and owner had selected a different name for the magazine. I can't in good conscience allow a magazine with that name to be in my home.

Every time I try to upload the jpg file of the product, the forum board states the file is of an invalid type. Any suggestions?
It is a jpg and is 4 meg in size.

I still can't get JediWife to take the time to download her photos from the digital camera. My falling behind the technology curve is really starting to show.

Welcome aboard Weisenwolf.
I agree, the DCC-RPG rule book is really fun to read and the art is cool again.

Welcome! I'm sorry to say that Louisville is a bit much of a commute for me to make it to a game. ...I'm in California. GnomeBoy, you wimp! Why, when I was your age, I had to walk from Boston to San Diego up hill, both ways everyday to go to school! This is a chance to game man, you should already ...

However I have considered taking them out of the game for awhile similar to what happened in Dragonlance. What happened in Dragonlance? My friend took me through the first two modules back in 1988 and 1989. I had a cleric and a multi-class cleric/magic-user yet have no memory of anything odd or ove...

Re: How do y'all handle lvl.1 Elf armor?
As mentioned, the rule book does allow elves one piece of mithril armor at first level. I could read it this way also. But someone else might read it that you have to purchase the armor at normal prices and it just happens to be mithril. Ah, good point. I would just grant each elf player one piece ...

Re: How do y'all handle lvl.1 Elf armor?
As mentioned, the rule book does allow elves one piece of mithril armor at first level. Beyond that, I think the solution for elves to acquire more, or better, mithril armor is something the DM should come up with. Me, I would require a quest on behalf of an elven noble, who has the ability to make ...

I'd say give those magic-users darts and daggers and press on. Let the fighters shine! :) Growing mushrooms, to my knowledge, is not an easy task. I think today's knowledge of fungi has allowed us to have the ability to raise fungi much easier. But in the medieval times, and its fantasy counterpart,...

I received my first shipment five days ago. As soon as I can, I'll post a picture to show off the products. They are all professional looking and I'm very pleased. Ruins of Ramat is one of my friends favorite adventures to day, we have played the C&C version of this adventure. I am looking forwa...

Re: How Compatible Will Metamorphosis Alpha be With X-Ploers
Thanks Finarvyn. At this point it might be moot. One of the work friends that is so excited about X-Ploers has said he would be the game master! I'm all over this! I so seldom get to be a player in our RPG games. He said he would be able to make up adventures. I'm still looking forward to MA and hav...

How Compatible Will Metamorphosis Alpha be With X-Ploers?
Any thoughts? Can MA and X-Ploers work together?
My work group stumbled upon Brave Halfling's X-Plorers and have become giddy, to the point of willing to give up DCC-RPG and perhaps even Castles & Crusades.
I think it looks very interesting, but want to rotate it among the other games.

Re: Elf village layout....anyone know of one?
No maps come to mind. I think Gary Gygax's hardback publication detailing the area around Castle Zagyg might have some elf villages. Sadly, Troll Lords did not get to sell many copies before he passed away. :( Regarding Goodman Game publications, nothing comes to mind, but I currently don't have tim...

Horticultural, eh? Ecology robots, you say? Interesting. I don't know much about Metamorphosis Alpha, never got to play that game. We played Gamma World (original) back in the 80s and I loved the module which name eludes me. Something about the Golden Legion. I've DMed S3 Expedition to the Barrier P...

The Dice, Band, and Pin Arrived Today
I am very excited to report JediOre is the proud owner of six custom MA 6-sided dice, a metal band, and a pin! This metal band intrigues me. It is green with an evergreen outline. What does the green stand for? Am I some sort of park ranger in the ship? And me with my allergies and asthma. Camping f...

Sellswords is a good adventure.
I took my pals through it and converted it to Castles & Crusades. I even posted our exploits here on the boards. I was very pleased to have DMed this module. I think it would lend itself to DCC-RPG as well.
