Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

Dibbon, upon seeing the corpse bearing the disc thing, wonders if it might be used to control the orb? Moving quickly, he begins to wrest the disc from the corpse's hand with the intention, hoping that being the new disc-bearer, he will be able to command the orb.

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

Hearing the obvious sounds of a struggle from inside the room, all four (Krex, Cutter, Will, and Dibbon) will charge in. Bitterbrew will attampt to subdue the orb by grabbing at the protruding appendage and (hopefully) immobilizing the needle.' d20 roll = 14 (-1 for Str mod) = 13 total Dibbon runs t...

Krex and Cutter will remain outside the room in the hallway on one side of the door.
Dibbon and Will will also remain outside the room on the other side of the door.

In the event that there is violence, all four will rush in with weapons drawn.

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

Dibbon very much likes the look of the paintings and thinks they'd look very nice hanging in his tent. He nudges his mates and they attempt to see if the paintings can be cut from their frames and rolled up for transport (assuming that they're painted on canvas or the like).

Dibbon joins his comrades in their effort to clear the snow and ice away from the door.

Bitterbrew (Int 15) calls over to Tarr, "Hey there! Maybe your round hand grabber fits into the circle dent in the door?"

Dibbon harvests the yeti's canine teeth. They should work well for a new club or necklace.

Willoughby, Krex, and Bitterbrew investigate the pillar for openings, interesting protrusions, blinking or shiny bits and wonder why it's warmer there...

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

For me, yes:

Again, Init of 6

Assuming any of them survive the first interaction (depending on init):

DIBBON: Knife 14 = 14, Dam = (4)
WILL: Spear 7 +1 = 8, Dam = 4+1 (5)
KREX: Spear 10 = 10, Dam = (2)
BB: Club 17 -1 = 16, Dam = 4-1 (3)

[ooc] Dr. Meat will now appropriate Krex and Bitterbrew.

The four characters will keep pace with the rest of the group and enter (from the east) the chamber with passages in ordinal directions.

Alternatively, so...

Willoughby and Dibbon drop down from the vent shaft and examine the mental panel that was covering the grate. Perhaps this might be useful later on, assuming it's light enough to carry.

Either way, the two will follow along with the rest of the group, trailing near the back.

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

Though, as I am fond of ascii maps (for instance made using http://asciiflow.com/), it appears that these boards (1) do not have an option for fixed width fonts that I have found yet and (2) do not like extra white-space in responses and will "helpfully" truncate it for you. Again, there m...

After hearing the information relayed back to the rest of the group, Dibbon fishes around in his large sack and retrieves a heavily engraved length of sturdy metal with prying teeth on either end. "This was my father's pry-bar." He says. "It is told, that there are many like it, thoug...

Re: Frozen in Time - As a 0-level funnel

I like the rank idea. It seems a bit tough to wrangle so many characters. If someone wants to organize it, you can place my remaining two characters anywhere (through preferably not in front, as I'd like at least one character to finish this, if possible). I suspect that 2-3 groups would be sufficie...

Looking to join a level 1 (or higher) game

If anyone loves being a Judge and feels the inclination to run a PbP game higher than 0-level, I'd sign up as a player in a heartbeat. I've just gotten my feet wet in this whole PbP thing and it's really scratching the itch.
Cheers!
