GM Gems

I borrowed a copy of this from a friend, and was quite impressed with it. Then discovered it's out of print, and going for stupid amounts of money on various online shopping places.

Any chance it might be reprinted in the future?

I've been going to DunDraCon every year for 27 years. Don't see any reason to stop now.

Dig around here: http://onemonk.com/

you'll find tons of cool, free downloadable and printable paper miniatures for your games. I'm sure they'd have stuff that'd work for 0-level guys.

Can't wait for the Halfling and Fighter! I'm playing one of each in a friend's game.

Re: Old School Character Sheets

That's actually a great idea. the litle box in the front of the sheet can be used for a 'quick-view' of your spells, and then have a separate sheet for more detail.

Re: Old School Character Sheets

What about a second sheet for listing spells? You could put other wizardy junk on it, as well... stats for a familiar, notes about the patron, etc.

Re: The Slumbering Tsar

Where, when, and what can I bring? :D Well, Father's Day is out now, and this coming Sat is FreeRPG Day. ;) I'm thinking maybe twice a month ... Sunday maybe (DCC Brunch? Kill things and take their omelet?). People who can make it, make it. I'm thinking of a start the weekend after next. I really, ...

Re: Free RPG Day

My local game shop is too cheap to do free RPG day as well. We have a new comic shop in town but he doesn't carry RPGs, just comics and collectible games (magic cards hero clicks). Might have to drive into San Francisco. Anyone know of any sonoma county game stores doing free RPG day? Edit - Never ...

Re: People of the Pit

Got one today (along with some funky dice). Really love the cover ... the adventure and premise is interesting. I've been gaming for awhile - haven't quite seen that premise yet. :) If I pick up a copy, should I hold off on reading it for a while? Yes, if possible. :) I'd like to play through Doom ...
