Green Ronin's Chris Pramas recently commented in his blog that WotC hasn't yet given third-party publishers the kind of information they need to design products or make strategic plans relating to 4E. So I'm guessing it's going to be a while yet before Goodman Games can make any definite statements ...

I own DCC#20, and my wife owns #14 and #51.5, all in print, none in PDF. (#51.5 was free, which is the main reason we own that one.) My wife only rarely reads PDF gaming material--and usually only after someone else points her at a given document. (She has only recently tried her hand at DMing.) And...

I'm planning to run my True20 conversion within the next couple weeks, so I've made some minor edits to the notes above, and can now post my notes on the rest of the adventure. These conversion notes (above and below) were devised using the True20 core rulebook, the True20 Bestiary, the True20 Compa...

My wife is running DCC 14 "Dungeon Interludes" (with side adventures to help characters advance in between) and she'll be running the final segment sometime next month. Each part of that adventure has taken 1-2 sessions, typically one for the earlier chapters and two for the later ones. It...

Errata & Notes: Temple of Blood (WFF#0)

My unofficial errata for WFF#0: p. 10, Blood Spirit: This ghost is a 1st-level cleric, so has 3 x 0 level and 2+1 x 1st-level spells, the rebuke undead ability, and two domains (most likely two of Death, Destruction, and Evil). p. 12, Belzin Darr: His race, class, level, and Int should give him 15 s...

My wife is currently running DCC #14 (Dungeon Interludes), but since I'm playing in the final part (in a month or two), I haven't looked at the errata thread for it here yet. Normally, she doesn't read gaming forums, or look at errata of any kind very often, but I mentioned the existence of that thr...

WFF + Freeport + True20 = ?

I'm seriously considering converting WFF #0 "Temple of Blood" to True20 for a one-shot adventure set in Green Ronin's Freeport (the setting of DCC #20). If I do so, I'll post some conversion notes here. But for now, I thought I'd offer some initial thoughts on the "Juice Up Your Game!...

I picked up copies of DCC #51.5 and WFF #0 yesterday. My wife used a DCC module (#14) for her first attempt at GMing, which has gone much better than she was expecting, so I got #51.5 for her. Now that she's read it, she's debating whether she wants to run a new campaign after her current one, and i...

One solution may be to borrow an idea from Green Ronin, who had to work around their printer being unable to provide their Free RPG Day offering on time: They are making the PDF of that adventure (as well as PDFs of a couple other introductory titles from other lines) available for free for 24 hours...

I know you're asking about GMG's DCC minis line, but at some point I need to get off my lazy butt and take photos of the LEGO minis my wife and I built for her run of DCC #15...I'll try to remember to post the link here when I finally get that done. (The xill, roper, and shambling mound were especia...

Errata & Notes: DCC #20: Shadows in Freeport

I'm new to these boards (and GMG's products in general, except for playing a couple sessions of my wife's GMing debut, using DCC #15) but I'm an old-time Freeport fan who has compiled unofficial errata for just about every book in that line, as well as a scattering of other d20 products by Green Ron...
