I still recommend Visions of Escaflowne ; you say in the book these things aren't "the advanced mecha of Japanese anime," but Escaflowne's large, lumbering Guymelefs have just as much maintenance concerns and piloting capability as the lumbering beasts depicted in Dragonmech, but in Dragon...

And Charley's Gone

Luckily, my roof remained intact.

Mostly everything's back to normal now, but there's still lots of tree-related debris everywhere.

There is no more psionic combat! None! Soulknife is now a base class, as is the Wilder, your "get all DBZ on their asses with the screaming and the exploding of things" class. Powers are augmentable, meaning you can spend more power points to make them do newer and cooler things, and of co...

I poked around with this idea a little more since I came up with it - the idea was tha "NPC" classes are very much weaker than base core classes, with the difference between a warrior and a fighter of the same level being more drastic. In such a setting, bandit leaders aren't fighters - th...

Yeah, I noticed. I do like the look of the 3.0 books (I can even excuse the reflection in the little gemstones of the office and fellow who's scanning the sculpture, only since it still manages to look cool).

Hopefully they'll pull off something neat....oh, who am I kidding, I know they will!

Not getting hit and cutting in with precise strokes are the Duelsit's specialties. Leatherneck - moderate attack skills, ...
