Re: Castle Whiterock: Revised Edition
I with they'd rerelease the boxed set. Looks awesome. I know it's available for purchase as a PDF, but it just seems like a cool boxed set I'd love to get my grubby mits on. The boxed set is indeed cool. As for a revised edition, DCC seems the most likely although the maps don't really fit that sty...

Re: Castle Whiterock Campaign writeup
What should have been a 15 minute fight in Klooge turned into the entire evening as we struggled against all odds, trying to figure out how to work with Roll20. I've played on Roll20 before. I was slow and we had a couple drops but it wasn't unusable. I think the drops were the player's internet pr...

Re: Overland Map
I don't think there ever was an overland map of the area right around the castle. I've tried to make one up but the geometry doesn't make much sense.

Re: Doom of the Savage Kings
We finished it this weekend -- Our epilogue was pretty immediate. The party slew the Hound in town by binding it with the shackles and stabbing it death with the wolf spear. The night erupted with people coming from their homes and the inn to congratulate the party. Since it's possible for characte...

Re: The giant on page 45
I'm not sure a +32 is what I need. I like the idea of small nimble humans dodging the giant's massive fists and he crushes the city around him. Anyway, I remember that 3e had a chart where monsters got penalties to hit as they got a penalty to hit as they got larger and larger. I do think they shoul...

The giant on page 45
On page 45 of the rulebook there is a picture of a giant defeated by our plucky heroes. By my estimates, this giant is about 75' tall, more than three times the height of the 20HD Storm Giant. Any ideas on how to handle a giant of this magnitude? Or things like the similarly sized giant squid on pag...

I haven't gotten my copy either which is weird because I was one of the first people to get the rulebook.Harley Stroh wrote:I don't have a copy yet either, so at least you are in good company.
Should I be worried?

Re: What does Castle Whiterock look like?
2. Picture on page 6 of the Redbook - This picture shows adventurers looking from a hill over the lake to the fully built Castle Whiterock. This helped give me a sense of the surrounding area, of the lake and the type of terrain around the castle. Again, you will need to use some imagination to pic...

Re: The SALE is on!
With the sale, I finally finished my complete collection of DCCs (baring some of the tournament ones). Suprisingly and fortunately, I only needed 5 of them. While its cool, its also sad as its the end of an era for me. I've been buying Goodman stuff since Broncosaurus Rex* and now its over. Not swit...

Bring back Broncosaurus Rex
This suggestion is more like a faint lost hope. I'd like to see a revised version of Broncosaurus Rex. You guys know the d20 rules way better now and I think the setting could use a kick in the rear. Plus, there's tons of OGL stuff around to pull from in addition to the stuff that you guys produced....

Props to Jason Edwards
I just finished reading DCC #10 and 11, and I have to say that Jason Edwards is becoming one of my favorite artists.
Does he work for anyone other than Goodman? Has he done art for books other than the DCC series?
