Re: New Podcast.
Not only did I capture Doug Kovac's Marvel Super Hero d6 and a small piece of his gamer soul, I've also tricked him into outing himself as a unicorn lover on the forums.

Re: How often can a cleric retry lay of hands?
The cleric can attempt to lay on hands as many times as desired. Disapproval increases on failures. Lay on hands uses an action die so a cleric can only do it once per round.

Seattle Area Mystery Map Playtest
I'm running a few in-person playtests of the Mystery Map adventure in downtown Seattle. The first game is this Saturday, Feb 23 at noon. I'll be running a few more over next 4 weeks as well. If you live in the area and have interest, email me at dccrpg@metagamemastery.com.
Thanks,

Blog post: Getting Started With DCC RPG
I wrote a blog post to try and get some gamers off the fence about trying out DCC RPG. Forward it to your game master friends that aren't playing yet.

Actually, Dak, I'm Jobe Bittman. Due to how close the announcement came to Free RPG Day, this *might* actually be a real DCCRPG product instead of a Free RPG Day give away, so you should be able to get it at your local game store. /em crosses fingers

Re: Where is the DCC Crowd heading to in 2013... (Con-wise)
I'm strongly leaning towards Gencon this year. Possibly Kublacon. Defintely GoPlayNW, Dragonflight, and PAX. Plan on running DCCRPG at all over them. I ran DCCRPG at PAX last year in the Indie Games room.

Hilarious. I love it. Why a medium-sized pumpkin though? If my patron is a pumpkin, I want it to be the biggest bad ass pumpkin with warts and fat knotty stem.

Re: Expertise Dice
The similarities from latest rules are the expertise die roll is now added to attack and damage, and the expertise die increases in size as a character levels. Rather than deeds, you get maneuvers which is like a restricted list of deeds. If I recall there was even a line suggesting you create custo...

Expertise Dice
Anyone else notice how close the D&D Next "expertise die" is to "deed die"? Are there any of games that use a similar mechanic? I can't think of any right now.

Re: Stomp the typo / Errata & FAQ
There's a post on this in the rules forum, but "ego check" is used in the "Sword Magic" section, but there is no explanation of what in ego check is or does. It would be great to have some clarification.

I found this great list of Appendix N inspirations broken down by monster, class, planes and even spells on the Acaeum. Here's the link to the acaeum thread ( http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12873 ) And here's the link to webcitation archive of a geocities page. ( http://www.webc...

Re: Anyone going to PAX?
I'm hitting one panel at 2PM on Friday. I'll run a 2 hour game at 4 or 5 if there enough players. And I'll probably run a few more on Saturday. Sunday I'm booked up. If you're on twitter, follow the hashtag #TTLFG .

Re: Anyone going to PAX?
I talked to Games on Demand people at PAX. They seemed okay with me running "Learn to Play" DCC RPG in their area in the convention center in rooms 305 and 306. I'll run slots on Friday and Saturday. I want to run level 0 and above 0. Slots are 2 hours which should be plenty of time to mak...

Anyone else going to PAX Prime this year? I was thinking it would be fun to run some games in the tabletop freeplay area.

Feather fall question
Does the duration portion of of feather fall "1 round per round caster level or until landing" means "1 round per caster level or until landing(whichever comes first)"? From the spell text, I assume this is the case.
