They did indeed make it out alive...barely. It was a very tense moment for all involved!

Mists of Madness was so much fun...

...that I recently commissioned artwork to commemorate the epic battle with Skoulos! The art was by the Fraim Bros (http://www.brosfraim.com), 11x17 pencil and ink for $125. Worth every penny! These are the same Heroes of Punjar that I had inked after finishing Thrones of Punjar! http://i268.photobu...

Re: Thrones of Punjar was so fun, that... (SPOILERS)

The Fraim Bros do great work. I've had them do individual pencil & ink 9x12's of my favorite characters ($30) as well as group battle scenes (up to $100).

They look SO cool framed in the gaming room. And they are fast! I commissioned this latest piece a week ago. It will mail tomorrow!

Re: DCC55 Sea Drake- Traps in C7c- TPK? Help.

And I checked out 'Fourth Level Fighter', primal- it spoke to me deep down, I've forwarded it on to a few friends- reminds me of early Springstein. Many thanks! It's getting around the cons this summer and we've had a lot of people letting us know how it seemed to be a reflection of their early gam...

Re: DCC55 Sea Drake- Traps in C7c- TPK? Help.

The Punjar series is the best chronological set of adventures out there for 4E. We lament the fact that it ended, and wished there was a Paragon Punjar series, but we loved the ride. Our group has been through The Mists of Madness, the Punjar series, Citadel of the Corruptor, Isle of the Sea Drake a...

Re: The Forgotten Portal will be breached tonight!

SPOILERS As far as session details, the party decided against swimming whenever possible. The Paladin was decked out in plate, and he was fearful of sinking. Indeed, it nearly happened a handful of times! They fashioned a raft to cross the large pool at the foot of Atotzin and nearly everyone fell i...

Re: The Forgotten Portal will be breached tonight!

I'll see what I can do! We're not keeping a narrative log of this adventure, but I award XP for write-ups and short written pieces. We've gotten one so far, and I'll post them as I get them. The party consists of: Jaguar-Paw, Human warlord Aulora, Deva Sorceress Goruman, Eladrin Paladin Ana, Human I...

The Forgotten Portal will be breached tonight!

Tonight our party will begin DCC #58 The Forgotten Portal ! This particular group has taken a long hiatus after Isle of the Sea Drake and we're finally ready to get underway. Jaguar-Paw joined the party after Isle to repay a debt and he's been having visions of something terrible beyond a great wate...

Scions of Punjar Campaign Journal continued... HUGE, HUGE SPOILERS!!! Part IX The party crept warily down the canyon, feeling exposed on every side. An ambush could be lurking behind any number of outcroppings or dense thickets of scrub brush. Titan took the lead, which was a great comfort to the r...

Ok, you asked for it! Here's our entire campaign journal record of Scions of Punjar . As DM, I offer XP to the players if they send me write-ups or short interludes to help flesh out their PC. As such, this is written by several people, each with differing writing styles and abilities. Most were wri...

Re: Scions of Punjar: Session 3

Scions of Punjar was one of our groups favorites. They had a moment of revelation in the masoleum that is still talked about as a benchmark moment in the development of their characters. There were many memorable events in the windmill as well!

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's

I'll offer an opposing viewpoint. I was attracted to Goodman Games because of the 4e DCC's. If they went away, so would I. They are miles above what other people are churning out (War of the Burning Sky is pretty cool and I'd love to see Goodman come out with a level 1-30 mega campaign set). Don't c...

Orcbiter might not fit my current campaign, but I can't wait to see what comes next! One of the PC's is a cleric that w...

I've had no end of trouble getting it at my FLGS. I went with the subscription, even though it is double the cost. I just wish my FLGS would pull their heads out. I've already had Mr. Goodman give them a nasty call, and that was just a few months ago! Honestly, it's like they don't want my business!...

I got my copy of #2 today! Let me just say that I love the Cthulhu Crawl Classic adventure! It combines the awesomeness that is Call of Cthulhu with the horror of The Shadow Over Innsmouth. It's going right into my Paragon campaign!
