Re: DCC #28 on PDF?

This news makes me very happy. I'm interested in running some conversions of DCCs with the new HackMaster, so I want to buy more of them :D

Re: Buying the PDFs before they're gone

I too liked the old-school look the 3.5 DDC's have, but I can certainly understand GG wanting to update it for 4E. I suspect the adventure content will still be just as cool.

Re: Buying the PDFs before they're gone

Yeah, if you go to http://www.drivethrurpg.com, it's very clear that it's only a matter of time before the 3.5 DCC's become unavailable in .pdf form, which makes me kinda sad. I think GG does great stuff and I'd like to be able to give them more of my money, but I don't intend to invest in 4E for th...

Buying the PDFs before they're gone

Since it looks like the 3.5 and 1E .pdf versions of DCC's are going to be disappearing, I'm thinking about buying all of them at once (except for maybe the Known Realms, which I already own in .pdf). Is there an easier way making such a purchase without having to sift through Drivethrurpg and clicki...

Re: Aereth and 4E

My local game store isn't participating in the event either, so I certainly hope GG reconsiders its stance on releasing it as a pdf.

Or barring that, maybe some of it could see publication as part of some kind of future product?

I'm surprised I haven't seen more fan conversions for C&C. Lurking on various message boards, it seems there are a fair number of people out there who use DCC's with C&C, although maybe most of them just do it on the fly. Or maybe I just haven't been looking in the right places?

Yeah, that all sounds really cool and I think I'm going to place an order for a copy. I picked up 51.5 when it first came out...at 2 bucks it's a great value.

Thanks!

So the Castle Whiterock product itself suggests other DCC's to use as tie-ins if desired?

This might be an ambitious question, but any idea what other DCC's are set fairly close to Whiterock's location?

Yeah, I couldn't imagine doing a complete conversion before playing either =) Anyway, from poking around the forum a bit more, it sounds like I could always do something like occasionally run a different module as an interlude to give the party some additional exp, preparing them for Whiterock's dee...

[C&C] Castle Whiterock question

I'm thinking about picking up Castle Whiterock and running it with C&C. I've not run C&C before, but I know that the rate of character advancement is slower than in 3E. I'm sure there are people out there running Castle Whiterock...how does the difficulty of th dungeon scale up? Is there muc...

No kidding.

Mr. Goodman--You'll never become the sinister overlord of a mega-corporate conglomerate with business practices like that.

But you will get my respect...and more of my money

It's weird. I'm totally stoked about the Known World, and it's based entirely upon opinions people who own it have posted on forums both here and at rpg.net. I've been collecting C&C stuff since it first started being published, though I've never actually played the game. But the stuff I've read...

Indeed it does help. Since I'm contemplating running an entire campaign based almost entirely on DCCs because of the impending release of the Known World, I was wondering if the line had enough variety to keep things fresh. In addition to the two modules that GG has released for C&C, I've picked...

Dungeon crawls are lots of fun, but I agree that wilderness and urban crawls would be good additions to the line.

This might be a dumb question...

...since they're called "Dungeon Crawl Classics" and all, but do any of them provide any wilderness or urban adventure?

That philosophy sounds pretty cool and very helpful to newcomers like myself, who really aren't familiar with DCC's and want to use them in conjunction with the Known World. And because it seems like the modules in each path and connected pretty loosely, I would guess that the DM gets some wiggle ro...

Yeah, I'm a bit impatient for it myself. But today my order for DDC #29 and DDC #1 arrived from Nobleknight, which I can start converting to C&C. These, plus the official ones that GG has released for C&C, should tide me over for a while.

Are the adventure threads grouped together based on geographical promixity? Or are they simply strung together in a way that seems cool and fun?

Are you aware of the new board that started a couple of months ago? If not you can get to it by going to their website and selecting their forum button. As for the Known world, I haven't seen/heard a actual date yet. I'll check the website. I am. I'm assuming the new board was part of their recent ...

I just hope I have seen you on the C&C messgaeboards. If not, then join! You might've seen me on Dragonsfoot from time to time, though I generally lurk more than I actually post. I also read the TLG boards from time to time, but can't remember if I actually registered there or not. I'll have to...

This product looks awesome and I wish I could own it right now. So far the only Goodman Games products I own are the two DCC's that were relased for Castles & Crusades, but this campaign setting is about to change that.

Brilliant idea, you guys P-)
