heh, i can't say i'm much of a WWII expert either, but my dad like to read novels about that kind of stuff, and i pick up some of it from him (you should hear the dirty jokes ;) ) IRL, the whole wire concept wouldn't work at all, bcasue an arrow flies on a trajectory, and you'd need more than one ar...

well, i'd say the stress steam bow doesn't get powerful fast enough, if this is to parallel the arcane archer on the other hand, i can't say that the other abilities are above or below the arcane archer in terms of ability... against constructs, weaker; against creatures weak to critical hits, more ...

well, the book says you need 10% of PU in crew, but the crew function descriptions seem to be mainly administrative, not for maintainence purposes i'd say that you could get away with one crew, but would be unable to fire weapons or do anything other than basic movement (and any sort of non-movement...

one comment, your race whould have atleast a +1 level adjustment (uneven stats, con and int aren't worth wis and chr) and natural armor (i was checking some stuff in savace species, and it has guidelines for determining level adjustments, and i recall that both of those are, individually, reasons fo...

well... this isn't an issu for me, but... <_< ... >_> ... some people in my party still can't get over the fact that i snagged a 100,000gp evil gem and sold it on the black market, keeping most of the profit for myself and, in character, so far as they knew it was only worth 20,000, becasue that's w...

and now for something mech related: mech add-on: Stony Face costs 25% of base armor cost requirements: primarily stone armor (51% or more) steady feet mech add on armor plating mech add on a mech with this add on gains the following benifits: the mech is carved to look like a natural rock formation;...

i'd like to see more weapons that are wholy steam/technology based like the buzz saw, flame nozzle, and steam breather (buzz axe and chatter sword are only partially steam/tech based) i like the idea having enough tech based weapons to fill all(most?) weapon niches currently filled by the weapons in...

nice spell :D i would say, though, that the material component should be a specific, pungent, herb (after all, what if i want to use it inside of a city or cavern/dungeon?) i'd suggest perppermint oil, but that would not be easily attainable in wilderness settings (and pretty expensive in a mideval ...

i'm guessing the most appropriate steam power to add for the faster re-load would be the fly wheel and i would have it grant the same speeds granted by the rapid reload feat in the PHB (one action type faster: full round > move > free) not stackable with the rapid reload feat, of course :P (i'm glad...

not full plate, i'm working up to hydralic armor, which is listed as a heavy armor (i havn't checked the thread where i asked about the armor proficiency(hydralic) feat, yet) assuming i use that (i had a dwarf character in Arcanum that was a rifle-wielding technologist wearing the game's equivalent ...

hey, it's still here, and they're letting me comment on it this time :D interesting feats... one thing on second smite, though... the use of lay on hands restricts your number of uses to 1/2 your charisma modifier rounded down (since you get your level times charisma modifier points) and a paladin g...

a few of the entries seem cut off...
