Crawl! fanzine V
UPDATE, AVAILABLE NOW:
http://crawlfanzine.blogspot.com/p/buy-now.html
---
I just finished the cover, and I thought I'd share.
Details of the contents will be shared once it's been approved (I wouldn't want to promise something, only for it to be declined...)
Also, work will start on #6 once it's been approved. It will be the classic class competition compilation! Which means it's time for ya'll to take one more look at your creation and tighten it up. Voting starts as soon as #5 is released!

Contest!
See that creature on the cover? Want to win a copy of #5? (or extend your sub by a copy.)
Stat out, describe and tell about that monster on the cover! The artist and I will pick the best and that's all there is to it!
(Post them on this thread. Use Crawl! #5 Contest Entry in the subject so we don't miss it.)

Re: Crawl! fanzine V
Hi, thanks for the interest. My submission guidelines are found here:nebulous wrote:how can i submit stuff to Crawl?
http://crawlfanzine.blogspot.com/p/submissions.html
Basically email me with your proposal. But don't send me the complete article or image, i'll just lose it. If it fits an upcoming issue, I'll let you know and we'll go from there. If it doesn't, I might forget about it. If, or when, I give a hint of what an upcoming issue is going to be about, theme or focus, don't hesitate to remind me about your article if it fits. It's tough to remember every proposal or submission, but I try my best to line things up.

Re: Crawl! fanzine V
Now that Issue V has been released to subscription holders and the public at large, will there be any discussion of the front cover creature design that was asked of the Goodman Games Fan Forum readers and writers? I'd be happy to hear feedback on my entry, and thrilled if I created something published in Crawl! and used by fellow DCC gamers.

"Stray Couches, Stray Couches. "
Thus was my chant at lunch today. Greatly upsetting my dogs and illiciting a look from the Girl Friend. I am a happy camper. No Magazine has gotten me so happy since the early 80's. Waiting for my Dragon and Journal of the Travellers Aid Society magazines to arrive,
Thank you for all your hard work on keeping this on track, and when can I get my subscription renewed for next year?

Co-signed. I got my copy of Issue V a couple days back and am very much pleased with this issue (and each of them so far!). Great work Rev, do you ever make it up to the Northern part of the state? You ought to come up for DunDraCon in February, I will buy you a beer.

Re: Crawl! fanzine V
Would love to! We'll see though. Feb is when I usually go on one of my many desert camping trips. I'm in Northern CA all the time, though. My sister lives up there, and so does my girlfriend's sister. I'll gladly accept a beer [bribe].Skars wrote:Co-signed. Re: Crawl! fanzine V
I posted an update on the Crawl! blog about the armor. Wasn't aware of the dagger, and didn't think Orcs used such delicate tools...(heh)Colin wrote:Did the errata for the Orc get added (the missing dagger and armor)?

Good job Dak. I think the Orc was the best article of the issue. Change the fluff and you have the Barbarian!
