Yeah, I was going to post something here about how cool the module is to play, but it kept slipping my mind.

I ran it once for some strangers on Free RPG Day and they loved it, although we didn't quite get to finish because of time issues. I'm running it again for my gaming group in just a couple of hours.

Basically, it's a fun adventure with some neat monsters and cool treasure at the end. Lots of creepy monsters to kill, lots of rooms to explore. It's a well-written module but very compact. (Only 9 pages, I think. My first reaction was "where is the rest of the module" but the information is well organized and it doesn't need much space.)

Thumbs up from me! 8)

We will be releasing this in PDF today at Rpgnow, Paizo (once they activate it) and through our Gumroad site.

Thanks you to everyone who playtested this and offered suggestions for the module and cover.

My first published module for the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG, Adventure Locale 1 - Bone Hoard of the Dancing Horror, is available now on RPGnow (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/103661/AL ... ing-Horror) and on Gumroad (https://gumroad.com/pdg).

This 2nd level adventure is intended to be easily slotted into any Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign, and features new monsters and new magic items.

So, if your party has dealt with The People of the Pit and faced the Doom of the Savage Kings, uncovering the Bone Hoard is the natural next step!

The first review is also up on RPGNow!

It is only available in PDF because of its length. When we have a number of Adventure Locale (AL series) releases we will look to POD options.

The second adventure I've written for Purple Duck Games, Through the Cotillion of Hours, is in the playtesting/approval phase.

Last night, I ran a game using Attack of the Frawgs (which was fun). In the follow-up, the players had a lot of things they wanted to figure out, and a lot of things they wanted. After saying "quest for it" a couple of times, I pulled out TtCoH and gave them a chance to do just that. This adventure was designed to allow the judge to give PCs a chance to quest for specific things, as well as to point the players in the direction of future adventures.

The players were my 21-year-old son, my 13-year-old daughter, and her friend. The rest of our regular group were camping this week in Algonquin Provincial Park, so I had agreed to run something separate just for them. We normally conclude our games around 8-9 pm. Well, they didn't get through the adventure (and we will have to pick it up in another separate-day adventure), but they had a hell of a lot of fun.

I have been running a lot of the published DCC materials, and they did not know they were going through something I had written until after my daughter declared that it was "the best adventure ever". They just wanted to keep going....and we did until someone showed up at the door to escort the (very late) friend home. Half an hour later, after 10:30 pm, everyone was still fired up. We could easily have kept playing until 2 am.

They managed to explore (or partially explore) 5 encounter areas, and used about half their time to "solve" the adventure in so doing. I would love to say more, but I don't want to damage your own play experiences when this thing is released. Needless to say, I am still feeling great about the incredibly enthusiastic response this one received at my table!

(Obviously, I am aware that my tastes/GMing style may differ from yours, and YMMV, but I am still feeling great about this one!)

(Shrug)

Take from the above post that, if your gaming group includes a pair of 13-yr-old girls, they might like this module when it is released.

Will any of these adventures be available in print?

When we get to the larger ones there will likely be Print on Demand (POD) options available. Our first few are two short for that kind of option although once the second release comes out I'm going to look at combining the first two or first three as a POD product.

Hey, there. I just noticed AL2: Sepulcher of the Mountain God (by Paul Wolfe), up at RPGNow (http://www.rpgnow.com/product/104748/AL ... =FrontPage). This is a fun first level DCC adventure, that I have playtested and enjoyed. And, at $3.25, you really cannot go wrong!

Daniel

I'm definitely hoping a print version comes along. Combining a few modules sounds like a good plan.
