We're in the final 48 hours, and you people are rocking! We blew past the Level Four goal and are more than half way to reaching the final goal! Incredible.

I've created a quick video discussing the status of the Crawler on iOS, and take the opportunity to thank everyone for the wonderful support!

Thanks... the last few days have been insane. :)

I created a final-final goal, set it way out there, added some new backer stuff... and boom. $1000 of pledges today.

So if anyone else wants to get in on things, there's 16 hours to go. I'm think I'm too exhausted to come up with anything else at this point. ;)

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful support! Now back to finishing up The Ooze Pits of Jonas Gralk...

add half a dozen noughts to the next goal and you could give up your day job:)
You are going to need to if you are going to deliver on all your pledges!

If you need any Android play testing done give me a shout

My brother told me to do the Dr. Evil "1 MILLION dollars" bit, and offer something like vacation pics as the teaser. ;)

Yeah, code-wise, I've got some fun ahead of me! But in terms of the adventures, since all of them are in the pipeline, I'm feeling really good about the pledges. As amazing as the participation is, we've had over twice as many people purchase Perils of the Sunken City than have participated in in the Kickstarter. So I don't really see it as cannibalizing the future - it's more about establishing a great long-term relationship with a really cool core audience. And those folks really are (and have proven ti be) the best way to get the word out about what we're doing. :)

Just send me an email to infoATpurplesorcererDOTcom, and I'll send you the beta APK to test.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Kickstarter: it was a great success! We raised $5,581 to help spread the Crawler's Companion far and wide. :)

I've already used portions of the funds to purchase Mac and iOS equipment, and the iOS beta will be available later this week.

For those who like this sort of thing, here's the funding graph for the 30 day Kickstarter:

Again, thanks so much to the entire DCC community. You guys are awesome!

Agreed! I still need to read the adventure, but the layout work is very professional!

That second page advertisement really bothers me. Maybe if it was in black and white it wouldn't have seemed so bad.

Otherwise I agree.

I could be wrong, but I think that's actually the back cover.

Yes, it's the back cover on the printed version. It's there in the PDF so that when you print it at home, if you have a duplex printer it will maintain the same page layout as the printed version. If you're crazy like me, you'll print page 1. Then print print pages 3 to the end (minus the legal stuff page) duplex, then print page 2 and staple to taste. :)

Ok that makes much more sense. I was going to suggest it should have been the back page as it would be less distracting there.

Yeah, that's exactly what I assumed when I was creating the PDF: of course you put the back cover at the end, right? ;)

But after doing some research, I agreed with the concept that it's better to have one extra 'next page' click for screen users than for those who print to get the wrong layout by default.

And I do appreciate those who take the time to give feedback: I want to improve things with each release! The second Sunken City adventure is in the final stages of production, here's a sample page from the layout:
