I won't be back in the States till September, if I get a subscription then, will I get all the back orders (probably 1, 2 and 3?) automatically?

From the Subscriptions page of Crawl!:
All subscriptions will begin with the current issue. Back issues will always remain in stock and available separately, but may increase in price as costs increase.
In other words, no, if you start a subscription in September, you'll be getting the September issue and the following five issues. Any back issues would have to be ordered separately.

Yep, Colin is correct. Subscriptions begin with the current issue, which is still the 1st Issue.

Yea, I had missed this announcement on Friday. So it was a complete surprise when it arrived yesterday. We were taking a short food break, eating some homemade smoked salmon and ribs (gotta love my players), and the mailman dropped it off. Given we had taken the break right when one of the players asked, "Well, I go shopping in the bazaar" ... it was even more timely. ;)

Sharp issue. I really liked the cover. Good work!

I have to agree, a very good magazine and one of the best 20 bucks spent. Just got my 2nd issue today only 4 days after 1st one showed up. Unfortunatly no time to read it yet this afternoon, cant wait to tear into it this evening

I need to thank reverenddak for offering to supply a monthly copy of Crawl! for the monthly DCC contest giveways I'll be doing on my blog ( Tenkar's Tavern )for as long as I have stuff to give away ;)

June's giveaway had PDF adventures supplied by Goodman Games, Purple Sorcerer Games and Thick Skull Adventures.

July (closer to the end of the month) will include Crawl! 1 & 2, 2 copies of whatever Appendix N Adventures find their way to me (hopefully 1+1A) and whatever other surprise may come our way.

There are some really excellent DCC community minded folks among the 3rd party publishers.

I can't thank them enough, so I'm thanking them here :)

Mine made it to Toronto during the middle of the week. Good stuff. I'll probably write about it this week, once I go through it again.

That is a cool cover layout -- with full art on the front and the contents on the back. Very neat. :D
