Got my copy, need a group! London UK

Post by tithian »

Hi all,

I've just received my copy of DCC RPG and I want to start playing as soon as possible.

So I'm looking for a few Londoners who are keen on DCC!

A few of the guys in my regular Pathfinder group might be coerced into playing, but I'm not feeling very much enthusiasm from them. They all have a very 3rd edition mindset and I need a few Old Skool gamers to counter their reluctance.

Please PM me or respond to the thread if you are interested.

(NB: I did not participate in the Beta test, though I did read the beta rules)

Hi Hawkwind,

I'd rather not play online, but if you want to pair up for tabletop DCC, then we've at least got a start.

I'm interested in GMing, but happy to trade-off GM duties.

North-central. A short walk to King's Cross.

Hmm, over a hundred views on this thread. Come on then, let's hear from you.

I work close to you at the north end of Tottenham Court Road but live in Leytonstone..If you had a few more players lined up I would consider travelling back in to town for a game. I have got a couple of players interested in a online game. I know online play isn't as good as face to face but it's way better them not playing at all

What about once a month Sunday.

I'm close enough to make it!

Once a month Sunday is precisely the kind of commitment I'm looking for. Where would you be coming in from, Outsider?

Hawkwind, Leytonstone is well within gaming-range, surely.

I'd be perfectly happy with 3-4 players, at least until we get our DCC-legs. Only problem is that some players always fall off after a few sessions or simply don't show up.

However gaming on a sunday daytime is out of the question at the moment as i have two children under 5 who have a prior claim on my time

I am however planning to run a game of the new Dungeon Crawlers Classic RPG on either the 10th, 11th or 12th of July if you are interested. Location either Infrno.net or google plus

Well I have few players already for this http://www.infrno.net/games/2537-dcc-rp ... l-of-death for Wednesday the 11th of july at 8pm London time. Infrno.net is free and is actually easier to use than google plus for gaming purposes

Hi there - did you guys have any success setting up a group? I've just bought the book but have yet to play a game. I'm attempting to set up a one off game via the London Dungeons and Dragons meetup: http://www.meetup.com/London-DnD/messag ... /27243132/ Let me know if anyone is interested or if you have space on your table.

Hi Rythwold!

Sorry for the late reply, but I've not been to the website for a while. I'm still looking for a group, so if you are still around, that makes two of us. Maybe we could plan something for Dragonmeet next month?
