I was expecting to see pictures of college rule with pencil written scribbles of information - but I really dig the throwback to the old 1ed AD&D style.
As a character sheet maker myself, I say good showing QuelessQuest.

That is a lovely piece of work!
I feel really behind the curve on the character sheet thing -- those wthl long memories will remember a DCC 'tribute' character sheet I did back in the stone age... I can picture the DCC RPG sheet I want to make -- I just have to carve out the time to actually make it!

I remember that sheet. I used it for a bit back in the stone age. My group enjoyed it.GnomeBoy wrote:That is a lovely piece of work!

Re: Old School Character Sheets
I would consider making more room for each spell, so that notes on the Mercurial Magic result may be included.QuelessQuest wrote:Wizard sheet added above ^^^

Re: Old School Character Sheets
I thought about it and I might add it. Wasn't sure how much I wanted to deviate from the original sheet it is based on. Would need room for 20 spells + mercurial effects. Something I could mess around with.Raven_Crowking wrote:I would consider making more room for each spell, so that notes on the Mercurial Magic result may be included.QuelessQuest wrote:Wizard sheet added above ^^^

Well, it's brilliant work, and it captures exactly the original sheet it is based on.QuelessQuest wrote:I thought about it and I might add it. Re: Old School Character Sheets
What about a second sheet for listing spells? You could put other wizardy junk on it, as well... stats for a familiar, notes about the patron, etc.

Re: Old School Character Sheets
My goal wasn't to create optimal character sheets, but to envision what a DCC character sheet would look like in the old AD&D character sheet format.bmonroe wrote:What about a second sheet for listing spells? I agree, wizards would need more detail. Once I finish all the basic, perhaps I'll revisit the wizard sheet. Or add a second page that is custom to the wizard that allows for the details of the spell to be recorded and the front the sheet will just be for listing the spells and marking of which are lost for the day.
Re: Old School Character Sheets
That's actually a great idea. the litle box in the front of the sheet can be used for a 'quick-view' of your spells, and then have a separate sheet for more detail.

Re: Old School Character Sheets
This is excellent keep them coming! Sticky?
Re: Old School Character Sheets
These look great, and I hope to see more. Oh, it should be "opposed" in the Lay on Hands table, however.
Re: Old School Character Sheets
I think Wizards need room in their spells list to detail Mercurial Magic and Manifestation information. That is something that room is something I see missing on most character sheets.

Re: Old School Character Sheets
One can simply use TWO boxes for each spell:name + effects, that could work OK.meinvt wrote:I think Wizards need room in their spells list to detail Mercurial Magic and Manifestation information. That is something that room is something I see missing on most character sheets.
