0-level characters' spells?
Can someone point me to the rule for spellcasting ability of 0-level character ?

0-level characters have no spell-casting ability.

They only get spells when they enter a spell casting class at level 1.

It would be potentially interesting to have a few of the occupations in table 1-3 to know a single spell: alchemist, astrologer, elven sage, healer, herbalist, scribe, shaman, wizard's apprentice. Perhaps imposing some sort of penalty such as rolling 1d16 instead of 1d20 on the spell check. If this was allowed, one situation a GM would have to deal with is if that PC chooses a non-magic class at level 1. Level 0 spells could also be designed and created... something similar in power to cantrips in other game systems.
