Awesome... congratulations!
Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
Fantastic news. Now get those bonus goals sorted; there's still a lot of time for the project to gain more funding!

Yes. If the stretch goals are cool enough, there should be no problems getting lots of funding for this.Colin wrote:Fantastic news. Now get those bonus goals sorted; there's still a lot of time for the project to gain more funding!

Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
Looks like an awesome setting. I'm pledged.
Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
Potential perks I'd like to see:
A module
More classes/races
More spells
More patrons
More monsters
More magic items
New and/or expanded tables (ie. new birth augurs, starting professions, corruptions, mercurial effects, random warlord generator, random caravan generator etc, etc... whatever works)
I am not a big fan of campaign settings as I prefer to make worlds myself so adding more of this sort of thing would be much more useful as I can easily borrow them for my games.

Indeed! I have reached out to two authors on the module piece, I am going to tap two more tomorrow. I will be talking to a friend of mine who works for a printing company and see how much a map run will cost. Might want to do a GM screen as well.

A lot of those things are in the setting and there are somethings on the cutting room floor that I might add back in. believe me I think you will be happy with the tool kit portions of the book.bholmes4 wrote:Potential perks I'd like to see:

I went for Noble status. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
+1 on this idea. I'd love to have a GM screen for DCC in general. That mixed with the awesome art that's been revealed so far from Tales From the Fallen Empire to face towards the players would be excellent. Haven't pledged yet myself, but I intend to when the funds are available. This was the third party release that first caught my eye originally when they were all announced. A little torn, but I may have to jump for the hardcover; just prefer supplements like this in that format when possible.ravenspoe wrote:Might want to do a GM screen as well.

I have several modules I'd willing to write for you.
If you feel I would be appropriate?
We could discuss further on Sean.connors68@me.com
Kind regards
Sean

We can definitely discuss this possibility. Let's revisit this as we get closer to all the financials being worked out. Currently I am trying to get an OSR author (former TSR type) on board to go for another stretch goal.

Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
I did not get a chance to post here, but our first stretch goal is up... GM Screens!
At 8,500 we will be producing a full color screen that will be compatible with DCC and the newer mechanics introduced in Tales From the Fallen Empire.
Depending on the costs we might do it as a 2 screen set, so lets keep fingers crossed!

Eric Quigley has been really blowing me away with the stuff he is doing.
Between him and Michael Lavoie the OSR look is there.
Now when Doug begins the maps the circle of awesome will be complete.

Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
We have now reached our first stretch goal of $8,500 and the creation of a Tales From the Fallen Empire/Dungeon Crawl Classics compatible Game Master's Screen. We are now rolling out our second stretch goal!
Cthulhu Mythos writer Oscar Rios (author of several Chaosium monographs including Ripples from Carcosa and The Ravenar Saga. Oscar has also contributed to More Adventures in Arkham Country and authored The Legacy of Arrius Lurco) has signed on to write a module called "Threads of Uruk". This is a great opportunity to add a heaping of Mythos flavor to your tales From the Fallen Emipre or DCC campaign.

Re: Tales From the Fallen Empire Kickstarter
Landscape GM Screen... Since I do not have one handy, does anyone have the dimensions for a Landscape Screen. I am trying to see at what cost will the printer do a landscape Referee screen.
I know there was a request to do the Tales From the Fallen Empire/DCC Referee screen as a landscape, so I wanted to price.

Pretty accurate, actually - matches me holding a ruler up to the edges of my copies of each well enough at least.mindshadow2k wrote:According to amazon the pathfinder screen is

Awesome, I am going to see if my Printer can do this custom size. If so I will put it out to the backers to see who wants landscape and who wants.. regular =)
