DM screen/player booklet soon?

Post by danbuter »

I could really use a booklet or something that I can hand to players that contains the various crit tables and spell write-ups. I'm guessing this is on a to-do list.

There is a links and resources thread that has something like this. You can download a PDF file that can be printed and folded as a booklet that has a bunch of key tables, etc.

It doesn't have spell write-ups, however. You may note that spells take up a large percentage of the book. :D

The good news is that it's easy to print the spells into a booklet.

...if you have the pdf.

Only the pre-orders got a free copy of the pdf of the game. Those coming along later will have to buy that, too, if they want such a copy.

DCC RPG GM Screen and compilation of tables booklet

Post by Benoist »

What I'd like to see for the DCC RPG at this point would be a GM Screen that comes along with a booklet compiling the tables critical to run the game.

Thoughts?

There was a recent thread nearly identical, so I merged the two.

If you look in the resources section you can find a booklet such as you describe. 8)

Ah now that's what I'm talking about.

A GM screen using the color illo of the inside cover of the DCC RPG would be really nice, though....

Yep, it's a fantastic piece of fan-made work from the Resources thread. :) Loads of great stuff in there.

Y'know, Harley, that every time you post you give us the Resource Thread link 'cause it's in your signature. All you have to do is say "see sig" or something similar.

I've got a $20 bill that wants to be spent on an official Goodman Games DCC-RPG GM Screen!

When will this product appear on the horizon?

Make 'em tall and harken back to the AD&D DM Screens of old!

I pre ordered, so I'm in the clear, but it would be nice to see a print+PDF purchase option, as that is the way I prefer to buy things these days. And expecting someone to pay $40+$25 for the same content is not so rad.

As far as a screen goes, I'd like to just have 3 landscape panels of art for my savage worlds screen. I guess the interior panels could be included as well, but I'd probably end up making my own with my setting-specific stuff like the item complexity charts from S3 or something.
Check out my DCC Resources Page for cool stuff!

Looks like the Tales of the Fallen Empire stretch goal is going to be a DCC Screen useful for core DCC and the setting itself:
So all the ducks are in a row for our 1st stretch goal. If Tales From the Fallen Empire reaches 8,500 dollars we will be producing a limited edition Game Master Screen which can be used when running your Tales From the Fallen Empire campaign or used when running a Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. This will be a nice three paneled card stock screen with the beautiful art work of Eric Quigley on the outside and useful tables for the GM on the inside. All pledges Pirate and above will receive a copy of this screen (digital and physical) and our Barbarian friends will receive this in digital format.

We are almost there with about 30 days to go. Let's make this screen happen!
