Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
I ordered mine through a brick-and-mortar, 'cause that's how I roll.
You direct-order guys will have yours well before I get mine. Heck, even before I get my copy of DCC...

Is "mid to late May" all we have to go on as far as the distributor channels go? I volunteered to run the darn thing at a public event and would like to get reading...hopefully before June. I came to this party too late for the pre-ordering.

What's that again? Is it double points?Raven_Crowking wrote:Me, too.GnomeBoy wrote:I ordered mine through a brick-and-mortar, 'cause that's how I roll.

Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
I'm always hesitant to commit to an exact date because there are many distributors involved, some of which are more timely than others, and many retailers involved, some of which are more timely than others. That said, DCC RPG will ship from distributors the week of May 21st -- meaning retailers could have it as soon as Tuesday, May 22, and even the slow ones should have it later that week.ScrivenerB wrote:Is "mid to late May" all we have to go on as far as the distributor channels go? Hope that helps plan your event. Thanks for helping to spread the good word.
Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
No DCC RPG CB here in NZ! No surprise; but Nick Logue has come out of the wood work and apologised for, and arranged refund of, the pre-orders from 2009 that failed to eventuate.

Here's to hoping that you are right and it doesn't take another 17 days to arrive.goodmangames wrote:I'm always hesitant to commit to an exact date because there are many distributors involved, some of which are more timely than others, and many retailers involved, some of which are more timely than others. Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
I got them both in today's mail at my post office (I pre-ordered both a standard copy and a gold cover copy)!
The return label on the box says Goodman Games, Santa Clara, CA but the US postage paid label says Anoka, MN.
Yay!

(And yes, they are shipping directly from the printer, but the home office is in Cali.)

How does that free module look?acollins46805 wrote:I got them both in today's mail at my post office (I pre-ordered both a standard copy and a gold cover copy)!
Click here to purchase my five AD&D modules.
Each of these modules is self-contained. No other books are required other than the three AD&D rulebooks (or a similar set of rules if you prefer).
Click here to purchase prints of Luigi Castellani's cover art for these modules.

On the plus side, I got a bunch of stuff from Amazon in today.
Re: The pre-order shipments have left the printer!
I didn't get any mail today, so I've been watching the damn mailbox all day. Pretty sure there's no DCC in Iowa. On the plus side, I'm running a G+ DCC game in 5 minutes!

Mailman came and went. Nothing in Chicago, either.

Aurora IL and I got mine today (take that, Chicago!). They look amazing. The modules look incredible - it's the highest quality feel outside of Paizo right now, bar none.
And though this won't make sense until you're hefting one - it looks heavier than it feels.
