Beastie! An idea for mechanics of splitting...

Post by RevTurkey »

So I walking home, shopping in hand and I have an idea...

A DCC beastie!

I was thinking about either some sort of pudding or hydra type that splits into others when hit.

So, start with a d30 action dice...nasty big powerful monster.
Then you hit it and it splits into two... Each using the next step on the dice chain = d24s
Then hit again and each splits into two using d20s etc

So...
D30...2xd24...4xd20...8xd16...16xd14...32xd12 etc

Just thought I would post it in case it inspires anybody?

Cool. Really pleased you both like the idea.

Please use it, if you fancy :D

I am interested in what new things can be done with all the funky Zocchi dice.
Some people have complained about them but I think they are terrific and interesting.

I was mulling over that idea about Warrior's use of dice I sent you Joseph and I got to thinking maybe there are many other cool things that these new dice can bring to the table...

I really love the game you've made.
