Man, you're really into the aquatic thing, aren't you? :) The writers tried to avoid a "beholder variants X, Y, and Z" approach to the book, instead crafting it in the context of the Dominions and their philosophies. If you have an idea for an undersea Dominion and "seaholders" to go with it, I can definitely post it with the fan material on the Free Materials page (or link to it, as the case may be).
