How about a PDF preview of at least one spell?
I'm going back and forth on whether I should pre-order DCC, or wait to see the game on a store's shelves.
To help me (and perhaps others) decide, would it be possible (before March 31st) to see at least one spell in its most recent form? I understand all the beta's "As above" results have been spelled-out.
If only one spell can be revealed, please let it be Color Spray!

Well, invoke our patron, The Good Man of the Old School, and he might fulfill your wish - at a price.Geoffrey wrote:I'm going back and forth on whether I should pre-order DCC, or wait to see the game on a store's shelves.

Your spell check to invoke patron is successful, although your patron makes one request of you: you must pre-order DCC RPG!

Heh. That's exactly how Adananx the Awesome tried to off his entire party in our Gary Con playtest.

Fine, you convinced me to upgrade to the gold foil limited edition. Happy now?
Re: How about a PDF preview of at least one spell?
Awesome, so if we have pre-ordered do we gain a possible luck bonus on another spell check to invoke patron for a second "Sneak Peek" ?
Or do we risk a corruption+patron taint+misfire from asking such a question?

Technically it was't the whole party....Harley Stroh wrote:Heh. That's exactly how Adananx the Awesome tried to off his entire party in our Gary Con playtest.

The spell tables are really nice. Having everything right there works well and the long term effects have more variation that improves long term character playability while preserving the flavor of magic being dangerous. Couple times during the Gary Con play test I did so well I warded the door into a solid wall. Course I also really bunked a couple rolls and grew demon horns....
Was wondering, is there any talk of a separate tome just containing spells? Basically a stand alone spell book? Thought that might be neat down the road.
