Age of Cthulhu 6: A Dream of Japan

Post by boneguard »

AOC 6 has been annouced for the end of the year.

It does look like an awesome addition to the setting and it would be interesting to delve into that era of Japan since this was the time of Japan colonial expension in Korea and China and I'm wondering if we'll get a mini 1920's Japan Gazetteer with it.

Sounds exciting, and I hope for a mini-gazateer as well because I don't feel like I "know" Japan as well as other settings.

Sounds dumb, but I feel like I could run a game in England or France or Germany even though I've never left the USA. I've seen enough movies, read enough books, picked up enough stereotypes over the years....

But with Japan I only have a vague sense of ninjas, samarai, and things like that. Heck, I may be blending more than one culture together and not know it.

Figured I'd post the cover Joseph posted in the AoC5 thread. It belongs here.

Any chance we can get a tease of some of Brad's art for "A Dream of Japan" yet?

It is at the printer! I do plan to post some art previews -- just have to get past some DCC RPG web site updates first.

Alright, so now it's 5 and 6 I'm interested in.

Just wish I had more player-interest in CoC... :?

Looks good, Joseph.

Looking forward to seeing both this and the next title on the shelves at my local friendly gaming shop.

I just bought my copy of AoC 6 - A Dream of Japan today. I'll read it this weekend. But just on the flip-through, it looks great.

Funny you should ask, Z-killer... stay tuned for an announcement later this year, (I believe), about Age of Cthulhu, volume 7!!! I won't say who the author is, but I have it on very good authority that he's a pretty swell guy. :D
