You know, where Mr. Author likes to pretend he's an artist.

Why thank you. I consider myself the master at making bad art look better through photoshop. You're looking at one of my favorite filterin' tricks.

This is actually proto-art for the setting I'm doing after the Aesca site is fully up.

Why not...

Here's my one and only Photoshop improvement, aside from touching up scans. It's a goofy subject, but hey.

Yeah! How'd you do them clouds? Paint a solid color and then use the smudge tool?

My clouds look a little different.

It was about 6 months ago, but I'm pretty sure I used a series of semi-transparent layers with the Airbrush tool, which I then smudged. I like your clouds. How did you do them?

I used a clouds filter, oddly enough, and I find that liberal application of large airbrushes and erasers makes the look like actual clouds...I was quite pround once I figured it out. You can see another example of this at http://members.fortunecity.com/aesca/intro.html

Two nice images, Mr. Author, you are certainly the master of self-proclaimed 'bad art'.
A pat on the preverbial back to both of you :p
