Maybe someone more versed in the GSL can verify this? I believe that was the deal -- you couldn't do both, as a publisher, you either had to choose to do one or the other (and if you switched to 4e, you had to stop selling any stock of your 3e stuff at a certain point, to boot!). I think there were adjustments made to that as time went on -- maybe someone more versed in the GSL can verify this?
