I just had someone politely point out to me on enworld that the text in the free rpg day adventure doesn't match the beta. The wording is not as inclusive as it could be in the module as in the beta.
The first qualification reads able-bodied adult in the module instead of fantasy enthusiast as in the beta. I'm assuming this wording was unintentional, was caught in editing, and changed in the beta. Maybe the module had already gone to print.
I'd respectively like to ask that the PDF have the updated wording of fantasy enthusiast replace the able-bodied reference. After all if Stephen Hawking ever joined my table I'd hate to have to explain that sentence to him!

The pdf isn't out yet, I'm looking at the physical copy. I'm just hoping Joseph will update the pdf before putting it out for download. It's too late to change the print module but I'm hoping the PDF version will get changed before going out.

I would just like to get the pdf asap, because i'd like to see what an adventure for DCC should look like; possibly without wasting time with trivial matters such as changing words on a cover...Kruvil wrote:The pdf isn't out yet, I'm looking at the physical copy. Ps. I'm not planning on playing with S.Hawking, but I don't think he'd feel insulted anyway. He seems like a smart chap.

Yup, the PDF is already updated (that phrasing along with a handful of other typos that were found). That phrase was supposed to be a "call to adventure" but, as you pointed out, it doesn't read that way to everyone. Unfortunately the printer was already done with their work but PDF's are a little more flexible!
