Meso-America

Howdy,

How about a series of two or three adventures in the ruins of an ancient culture like the Mayans, Incas, or Aztecs?

The old AD&D module C1: The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan evoked a wonderful feel of traditional fantasy characters intruding upon a culture and world far different than their own.

I'd buy 'em!

Check out #16: Curse of the Emerald Cobra and see if that does the trick. I particularly like handout C on page 32.

Hello Mr. Goodman,

Yep I own #16. Outstanding adventure.

If its a DCC and available for purchase, I've got it. I'm addicted to 'em!

That's why I said two or three. Please take my money! LOL!

One of my friends has American Indian blood flowing through his veins and loves Meso-American and North American history. I'd enjoy being able to give him a couple of adventures in such a place. That's why I'm interested in these. The concept of European fantasy PCs wandering about Inca ruins and encountering the ghosts of that noble civilization or Aztec ghouls thursting for blood seems very cool.

Tell your player that soon he will be really, really happy. No concrete dates yet but there are some awesome authors working on something just along these lines...

A good monster choice for Aztec would be were-jaguars, which were a major part of their mythology.
