Yes some words on this would be great! :(

And is GG going to continue LU after the next issue? Since your focus is shifting to the DCC RPG I'm kind of guessing thats the case.

I really thought a quarterly 4E magazine would be great, its frustrating to see such a slow release schedule. I liked that you guys had a print magazine, since Dragon and Dungeon now are online only.

And I know Im in the minority but I'm very sorry to see your focus shifting over to a new game. To be honest I don't feel like GG ever gave 4E a chance. The DCC module releases were very slow compared to when you released 3.5 DCCs. If you guys published more adventures for 4E consistintly I would've bought them all. Yes I know a lot of DCC gamers didn't switch to 4E but you had a new audience who liked them. My local game store actually has a monthly DCC adventure day for 4E, where we play through the modules and have a great time. Seeing you switch to a game that isnt very compatible with 4E is unfortunate for us, that means we'll be saying so long to the DCC line. (Sorry we like 4E, and what we've read so far of the DCC game isnt to our tastes.)

From what I can tell, Joseph is pretty savvy when it comes to reading the market. If he saw a big future in 4E I'm sure he'd be the first one to support it. I don't think that the creation of the DCC RPG is an anti-4E thing, but more of a move to favor what he thinks is a market he can capture.

I've played 4E along with many other editions, and I can see your concern with a non-4E rpg. On the other hand, I think you might find the DCC rpg to be pretty cool if you gave it a chance. It'll be different than 4E, for sure, but I think it has some awesome possibilities if you like the older S&S literature.

You guys probably know by now that I like to keep my cards close to my chest. :) Level Up #4 is being worked on right now. There will be some changes, which I hope to announce by the end of this month, but Level Up will continue.

As for 4E support in general, it will also continue. There will be support for both DCC RPG, and 4E. More to come on the specifics.

This is welcome news. My thought is that we don't need a different magazine for each product line, but one single magazine with a variety of articles sounds pretty sweet!

Can't wait to get DCC RPG articles! :D

Kobold Quarterly is available as a physical magazine. It isn't only 4E as it has 3.5 and Pathfinder material as well. In fact if you want to check it out the pdf of Kobold Quarterly #11 is available for free with coupon KQ11Gift. This end Feb 9 so you'll have to grab it quick.
