I just read on the net the Frank Frazetta has passed away.

I saw the same. I never had the chance to meet him, but his absence is palpable. Of all the fantasy artists I love, Frazetta was the one that seemed to make the cleanest jump from "illustrator" to "artist."

This is a real bummer. Frazetta's art is amazing. Long before I knew I loved fantasy art, I loved his work.

I found a good documentary (Frazetta Painting With Fire) on his life and work at my local library. Check it out if you can find a copy.

:( Yes very Sad Indeed a Great Artist.

He Shall be Missed I Brought Death Dealer three months back and I really like the Art Work of Frank and I still am yet to Buy Fire & Ice the Animated film. I have a Pulp book of Conan With Franks Artwork on it. All I can say is Well Done Goodman Games For Brining his World To RPG
