Can there be a DCC 3.5 Archive?

Post by Ramone »

Hi guys, I know that Goodman has moved on to the 4E world, but is it possible that you could put your old descriptions and covers of the now out-of-print DCCs back online in an archive or reference form? It would be really helpful with those of us who are still collecting/organizing the previous modules.

It seems like something even Wizards has done to help everyone keep track of what they have/want and then also to provide a historical reference. I know some of the adventures go in a sequential order and they all have a general audience as far as level. That information is really great to have when trying to organize the order in which they were published, how they fit together, and how they are set for different player levels.

I'm thinking this could literally be a one-page deal similar to the old adventure finder, but with the flavor sales text you had on each individual module. Something to use as a quick reference and searchable. So it wouldn't take up too much (online) space.

Anyone else agree there should be an archive?

I had thoughts of asking this same basic question myself.... It'd also be cool if it had the various expansion pdf's attached to their respective module descriptions, too, like putting the Welwyn pdf with the DCC11 entry.

Consider me in the 'plus' column for this. And I hope that fact is not a minus....

An archive of 3.5 DCCs would be useful and nice to have access to.

This is a great idea. We'll see about ways to implement. It would be a shame to lose all that history.

All the 3.5 info is still on the web site. Just click "3E mods" on the DCC sidebar.

Man, you guys are just all over this archive thing! I feel both relieved and embarrassed (for not seeing it sooner). Thanks! :D

Okay, here's my next big idea.... What about a service that tells people the answer to their questions and idle wonderings before they embarrassingly post them in the forum? Goodman Games has created so many wonderful things, that can't be too much to ask, can it?

On a related note, what's the best way to get dragon egg out of a shirt?

I guess your site has become so rich and expansive we were overwhelmed.

Man now I feel stupid. I hadn't been to the site in awhile and when I read the title of this topic I assumed that the old DCCs had been removed. Glad to hear that they are still here and next time I'll check the site out first before I jump on the bandwagon.
