Goodman Games

Since OSRIC 2.0 was officially released last week, I was wondering what the general thoughts would be on using this with the Wilderlands, or if general preferences remained elsewhere. I suppose my main reason for asking about OSRIC is that in one of the threads on EN World it was stated that once the rules have been thoroughally proofed and edited, hard copy versions will be made available through Lulu at a reasonable price.

At this point I guess I am just getting antsy to see new product back on the market once more considering the relative silence thus far on where things stand.

Not at all a fair question, since I could only pick one option.

1. I grew up on OD&D Judges Guild materials and clearly think it would be a great fit.
2. Much of the JG stuff from "the day" was done in AD&D, and clearly think it would be great as well.
3. I picked C&C becasue it's the best supported of the three, but still has that old school feel to it.

O/AD&D. That is, the paradigm from OD&D (1974) down the line to AD&D First Ed proper.

LOL Marv, you bastard. If I have to pick one, it's AD&D 1E, though in my mind that's the same paradigm.

I am late to this party, but I am using the Wilderlands (necromancer version with a few JG supplements) with DCC.

However, another great fit for the Wilderlands that is not on your list is Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperboria, which is really 1e but more streamlined and darker with Clark Ashton Smith kind of vibe.
