Gamer T-shirts
One of my favorite parts of gencon is getting new gamer T-shirts. I have also read some posts asking for GG T-shirts. I would love to see one based on the 2007 button. NPC's are there to be killed Maybe you could have a T-shirt design contest with the winner getting a GG grab bag of goodies.

Re: Gamer T-shirts
This is a good idea. Every year at Gen Con we do a different T-shirt anyway... asking for more cool ideas certainly wouldn't help. I'll see what I can put together...

Cool. I'll start working on my ideas for a great T-shirt.

Re: Gamer T-shirts
I think a line of tee-shirts with the cover art work of your DCCs would be swell.
It would give you over 50 options and lots of sales.

I agree. I'd totally sport a shirt featuring any of the first 3 DCC's.JediOre wrote:I think a line of tee-shirts with the cover art work of your DCCs would be swell.

Re: Gamer T-shirts
1. How about this? CLASSICALY TRAINED GAMER on the front with a GG logo over the heart. Right about were the horse would be on a polo shirt. Then DCC cover artwork on the back. I would choose #51 the Whiterock box cover. To me that is a great scene with so much to look at. You can notice something new each time.
2. A red shirt with a large bullseye on the back. GG logo as the actual bullseye. on the front across the chest NPC in large letters. Underneath that across the middle. Wow! Thanks for the cool shirt, but I never heard of Myna. Are you sure this a holy symbol on my back?

Re: Gamer T-shirts
Well, I'll stand by my suggestion to release a series of tee shirts with the cover art of the various DCCs. Perhaps its too generic or too broad, but I think it's too cool not to mention again.

Whatever you can manage. A description or rough sketch is probably good enough at this stage. Just enough for us to "get it"!

Ok, here's one.
A crossed weight bar bell and scythe, with the Goodman triceratops overlayed in the center.
with the the text. "Goodman Games Gym" "Millers Court, Áereth" and on the back "Get Ripped"
With an optional red fleck splash as a blood spray effect.

Re: Gamer T-shirts
Thanks!
Hmm...
Ok, an Xcrawl shirt.
the Xcrawl logo on the front pocket.
on the back, the roster for the teams that went thru the Celeberaty pro-am crawl with celebrities with groups or individuals marked off in red with the reason written in underneath(like a whole group X'ed out with "DRAGON" written over it.)
Will have to think up something for dragonmech and etherscope at this rate...

Re: Gamer T-shirts
Various options...
1.
"Instant Gamer
Just add caffeine"
2.
Put the cover art for Dragora's Dungeon on the front...
with...
"My t-shirt is more gratuititous than your t-shirt!"
3.
"Mandatory Gamer T-Shirt"
...or a variant...
3.5
"Mandatory Gamer T-Shirt
(Didn't you get the memo?)"
...or...
3.75
"Mandatory Gamer T-Shirt
(I see you got the memo)"
4.
"Adventurer's Checklist:
1. Ignore barmaid's advances (the princess is rich!)
2. Explore dungeon (henchmen enter first obviously)
3. Reply to everything with "Of course it's a trap." (never gets old)
4. Slay dragon (with some help from other party members)
5. Rescue princess (she's hot too!)
6. Discover princess is a soul-draining succubus (ignore others snickering, "of course it's a trap")
7. Drown sorrows in ale at the tavern (41,966 copper pieces will buy a lot of ale)
8. Return to Step 1"

Re: Gamer T-shirts
I thought 3.75 above was too funny!
How about sticking with the ethos:
Remember the good old days?
Those days are back!
[Insert Image]
[I'm thinking an awesome old school image, like the title page on the inside front of DCC25 with the adventuring party]
5th Annual Dungeon Crawl Classics Open Tournament
GenCon 2008

How about basic black with white letters? Shirt of dungeon crawling +5 on front with large GG logo on back.
