D&D 3.75
All of the proven 3rd party publishers (Goodman, Necro, Paizo) team up to create a new edition of D&D to compete with 4E. They bring Monte Cook out of retirement and bring in the old slugger - Gary Gygax.
They give the Dragonborn a curb check and leave them bleeding in the streets. They also yank the horns off of the tieflings. They console the bereft bard and the disconsolate druid.

They aren't going to kill a potential player.
Nope. Fathead's been 'recruited'...
Or, he's possibly gone to Portmeirion....

Wow. This post is at least partially right... Looks like Paizo is gonna give it a try. Impressive forecasting.fathead wrote:All of the proven 3rd party publishers (Goodman, Necro, Paizo) team up to create a new edition of D&D to compete with 4E. Tomorrow on Gaming Report: "Paizo Publishing announces the release of their 'OGL 3.75'"
Next Day on Gaming Report: "Goodman Games announces the release of OGL 3.85'"
The Day After: "Troll Lord to release C&C 3.95"
This could be fun.
