Wow, that's really weird, the BLEEX guy was in the NYTimes two days after I typed this originally. The NYT has better graphics guys and made it look even cooler.

wow, combine all four of those together, and you've got...

not a dragon mech, a 'mech is controled by two hand opperated levers, one per mech leg

something like the mechs in the anime Escaflowne

(the pilots of those were swordsmen, and the mechs basically had a cockpit/harness in the chest for the pilot that translated pilot movement directly into mech movement)
