Dinosaur Crawl Classics!

Post by Argamae »

I would love to see a DCC with Dinosaurs, something like a "lost world" or "lost continent/island". Since Broncosaurus Rex was discontinued I am hoping for some re-emergence of Dinos.
Maybe something like this can be placed in the Southlands of Áereth?! :)

I can't speak for a published adventure, but there's a valley or two in the Lost Lands that are ideal for this, the Southlands are of course quite suitable, and the Island of Tarras is perfect for it.

Only thing is, dinosaurs usually involving big giant lizards rampaging across some sort of wild terrain. But still, you can do anything with a good dungeon. The scale would probably just need to be bigger.

The Valley of Xyr Muthal in the Lostlands was deliberately designed for this purpose - it's chock full of dinosaurs, mammoths, and all sorts of prehistoric critters.

Myself, I always suspected the drakon in the Southlands had a couple of trained big dinosaurs to use as beasts of war ...

The Valley of Xyr Muthal in the Lostlands
That's the one! I didn't trust myself to spell it right without the book in front of me. :)
