I got the first adventure today at the LGS
Rumble in the Wizard's Tower

Rather like the quality
I had grabbed the pdf preview
the final version is 32 pages with the OGL at the back
It was retail at 10.99$ here for me

Some cool stuff right in the front, same as in the preview, for jazzing up the game. I like it actually, could port some of those ideas to xCrawl in a heartbeat, mooks, finishing moves, etc.

I recommend purchasing it
My first adventure besides the Etherscope one I have bought in maybe 7 years

I'm in complete agreement, I particularly like how they go to the trouble of putting in all the little details, like bathrooms, an actual good reason high level adventures aren't avialable to handle the problem, and a sense of urgency for the players that keeps them there.

Its a lot of really top notch work and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Incidintaly iss WFF going to be at either Gen con or origins?

Hi!

I'm glad you like the adventure; thanks for the kind words!

*I* will be at Gen Con. As for "Wicked Fantasy Factory" being at Gen Con, I don't think we're going to have a booth or anything... but I bet Joseph will let me hang out at the Goodman Games booth and answer questions or sign autographs or something.

Hey guys, I'm glad you like how WFF #1 turned out! We're planning to have WFF #2: Against the Iron Giant premiere at Gen Con. And don't forget about the free WFF adventure that will be available June 23 for Free RPG Day -- see http://www.goodmangames.com/freerpgday.php for more info on that.

I'm absoultly psyched about free rpg day, I'm running x-crawl for my local store and I'm hoping to get my hands on the WFF module as well =)

which depending on time and intrested players in one or the other I may run as well.

WFF #2

I'm really looking forward to "Against the Iron Giant." That cover alone is breathtaking. Nice job by Slawomir Maniak. Luke, I don't believe you're super-familiar with the DragonMech setting, but "Iron Giant" looks like it would fit in nicely at first glance. Any thoughts?
